UI/UX Designers

Tabula is currently 100% remote with a flexible work-from-anywhere policy. We currently have a large number of new projects for which we need experienced and talented UI/UX designers who are as comfortable conducting research and interviewing clients as they are at crafting high-quality UI design deliverables and design systems.

Necessary skills

  • Mastery of design software, especially Sketch, Figma or Adobe Xd
  • Understanding of developer hand-off using tools such as Invision, Zeplin or Marvel
  • Prototyping with Origami, Protopie or Framer
  • Experience designing apps for web and mobile
  • Understands the importance of driving customer engagement through user experience

Nice to haves

  • Coding ability, especially front-end with HTML, CSS and JS
  • Good instincts for UI copywriting
  • Experience working with product teams in Zenhub, Notion and Github
  • English language skills
  • Motion design, animation or 3D rendering
  • Understanding of SaaS business principles

Web Designer/Developers

Tabula is currently 100% remote with a flexible work-from-anywhere policy. We currently have a large number of new projects for which we need experienced and versatile web designer/developers who can take projects from conception through to completion single-handedly, while making use of a variety of technology stacks.

Necessary skills

  • 3+ years of experience with website design
  • 3+ years of experience with website development
  • Designs wireframes and full-colour mock-ups in Xd, Sketch or Figma
  • Experience with Affinity and/or Adobe apps
  • Excellent HTML, CSS and JS skills with experience using CSS frameworks, especially Bootstrap
  • Experience building entire sites in static site generators such as Gatsby JS or Jekyll rb
  • Experience building entire sites on Wordpress with custom themes or customization of existing themes
  • Ability to use animations and effects in their websites

Nice to haves

  • Good eye for detail in replicating designs in code
  • Experience building with no-code tools such as Webflow, Elementor and Editor X
  • Understanding of, and experience with, a plethora of hosting technologies and platforms including AWS, Google Cloud and conventional web hosting
  • Bilingual English/Japanese speaker
  • Feels most comfortable working on Mac computers

Full Stack Developers

Tabula is currently 100% remote with a flexible work-from-anywhere policy. We currently have a large number of new projects for which we need experienced and talented developers who are capable of building out the back-end and front-end of web apps for large scale enterprise or SaaS type scenarios.

Necessary skills

  • 3+ years of development experience
  • Experience with full-stack development
  • Strong ability one or more back-end languages (Node.js/Python/C#/PHP)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript programming
  • Experience with one or more frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Django, React, Angular)
  • Good knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Database related experience (SQL/NoSQL/ORM/Firebase)

  • 3+ years of mobile application development experience

  • Passionate about clean code and best practice
  • Driven by a strong desire to make beautiful and frictionless customer experiences
  • Some experience of back-end and APIs
